Postgraduate courses in Ireland

International students may be eligible to take a masters or a PhD programme in Ireland if they have successfully completed a Bachelor degree in their home country.  As a general guideline,  students should obtain an education level equivalent to an Irish honours degree to be enrolled at a higher education institution in the country. This award corresponds to Level 8 in the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). Students can check if their programme is equivalent to level 8 on the Qualifications and Quality Ireland website.

Undergraduate courses in Ireland

International Students may be eligible to join an undergraduate programme in Ireland. As a general guideline,  students should obtain an education level equivalent to an Irish Leaving Certificate to be enrolled at an undergraduate course in Ireland. This award corresponds to Level 5 in the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). Students can check if their school certificate is equivalent to level 5 on the Qualifications and Quality Ireland website.
